2026 NCBWG Bay Lakes Bat Blitz

Registration is open for the North Carolina Bat Working Group Bat Blitz scheduled for August 24th through 28th, 2026.
The 2026 Bay Lakes Bat Blitz will, in part, revisit sites surveyed during the 2016 bat blitz. This will provide valuable insight into how local bat populations are faring on a temporal and spatial scale. Additionally, several new sites will also be surveyed, adding to our understanding of distribution of bat species in the southern Coastal Plain.
Registration is required and is a TWO STEP process.
