- Florida Bat Working Group Annual Membership Fee. Per the FLBWG Charter, voting members are to pay an annual $10 fee at or before each annual meeting, however they can be renewed any time during the membership year if members are unable to attend the meeting. Membership is valid from March-March annually. Members may vote on any matter submitted to a vote by the members and may vote on annual Board of Director elections. To become a Board Member, hold an office or lead a committee within the Florida Bat Working Group a person must be a paid Member. Once a member, you will receive all news and announcements via e-mail. To avoid our emails going to junk mail, please remember to add flbwg@googlegroups.com to your spam blocking filters.
NOTES: Dues paid after January 1st and before the annual meeting (typically in March) will confirm you as a member at the annual meeting and the upcoming year. To be eligible for nomination to the board of directors, you should be a member at the time of nomination, which occurs prior to Dec 31st each year.
New members are always welcome and we strongly encourage membership of those who attend the annual meeting and/or participate on committees.
Florida Bat Working Group Annual Meeting
Please join us for our Annual Meeting of the Florida Bat Working Group. It will feature presentations on various bat-related subjects, our annual Working Group Business Meeting, and breakout sessions for committee meetings or topic discussions. Your attendance will help partners around the state learn about current bat conservation and management efforts in Florida, support science-based conservation of Florida’s bats, promote skill-building, and assist in networking with colleagues.
