2023 Alabama Bat Working Group Bat Blitz
May 2-5, 2023
Daphne, Alabama
Our goal is to survey coastal Alabama on a variety of sites in hopes of documenting Northern long-eared bat and catching yellow bats.
Netting will occur on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Registration is $20 for students and professionals
Lodging options include “ABWG Bat Blitz” block of rooms at LaQuinta Inn at 8946 Sawwood Street, Daphne (phone number 251-338-6555) or tent camping by reservation at Meaher State Park of Blakely Historic State Park.
