Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens Tour
Wednesday, February 20th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (*can be longer if you choose to do that on your own).
Limited to 20 Participants
This tour of the Jacksonville Zoo will last approximately 3 hours, and will be tailored to the interests of our group. The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is a premier regional conservation facility and valued community resource creating educational and inspirational experiences that connect people to the world of plants and animals. The cost of the trip includes a 2-hour behind-the-scenes tour, access to all public areas in the zoo, and unlimited train rides to make it possible to move between exhibits quickly. The behind the scenes tour includes meeting the penguins (a small group may be able to feed the penguins), meeting the aardvarks, and feeding the giraffes; a tour of the manatee facility may be possible if time allows. This is a walking tour, so wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing for outdoor activities. Guests are invited to stay after the tour and visit the rest of the zoo’s public exhibits, which include a brand new primate facility, but will need to arrange their own transportation. Cameras are welcome. Additional information about the Jacksonville Zoo is available at this link http://www.jacksonvillezoo.org/
